How it works

brdcrmb helps you remember more by leveraging neuroscience to connect you with those thoughts and memories you don’t want to forget. But why do we need brdcrmb in the first place?

Our brains are pretty amazing, but there’s a long history (and a lot of science) behind why we forget. Sometimes when thoughts come in one ear, they really do go out the other. The science behind this is called memory decay and explains how our mind is constantly making room for more information.

The best way to retain a thought — and turn it into a long-term memory — is to engage with it. brdcrmb helps you do this by sending you periodic reminders until the thought has gone from a light trace in your short term memory to a hardened neural pathway that’s there for the long term. We ask you questions along the way to ensure you’re retaining the information.
